Midwest artist Christine Belt responds to the tug of the Southwest.
Many contemporary Southwestern artists are sources of inspiration to Chris. One such Taos artist in particular, Malcolm Furlow, has motivated her to respond with a Midwest flair. The response mirrors Nebraska's theme, "The Good Life". Belt is committed to engage people to "vow to take back the good life".
Amidst the current storm in America, there's a message of hope in Christine's art. The hope is, that man desires to embrace what is honest, pure, and fascinating.

Comment from an American artist on the above painting.
I love this piece . . .
It is a bold contrast of light and dark yet humble in it's simplicity of form,
I feel her humility. Need I say more. My favorite.
