Many contemporary Southwestern artists are sources of inspiration to Chris. One such Taos artist in particular, Malcolm Furlow, has motivated her to respond with a Midwest flair. The response mirrors Nebraska's theme, "The Good Life". Belt is committed to engage people to "vow to take back the good life".
Amidst the current storm in America, there's a message of hope in Christine's art. The hope is, that man desires to embrace what is honest, pure, and fascinating.

Those are fantastic!  They look exactly
like the people there!  Seriously, they are great.

I would love to have you paint one when I'm on the dance floor. Have you shown those to the actual people in the picture?  They are really, really good!!!
